Dee graduated from UNLV with a background in dance and nutrition, giving her a strong foundation in movement, symmetry, and performance. After discovering weight training at age 25, she quickly rose through the competitive ranks, winning the overall Nevada title in 1990. She continued competing for more than two decades and earned her IFBB Pro card in 2012.
